The Cultural Summer of Palomares del Río Brings Together Dozens of Locals at the Arab Baths

A new evening of the Cultural Summer of Palomares del Río turned the Arab Baths into a meeting point with cinema, music, and community.

The Arab Baths of Palomares del Río were once again filled last night with families, chairs, and laughter during a new day of the Cultural Summer. The event, organised by the Town Hall, kicked off with the screening of the animated film Kayara, which attracted a diverse audience to the historic site.

At the end of the film, one of the most anticipated moments arrived: the raffles with prizes donated by local businesses. The mayor, Manuel Benjumea, accompanied by several councillors from the government team, was in charge of handing out the vouchers to the winners.

Music then took over with a performance by Silver Queen, who linked together well-known songs for the audience. Attendees clapped along to each tune, creating a relaxed atmosphere on a summer night.

Meanwhile, the solidarity bar of the Brotherhood of Rocío of Palomares del Río operated throughout the evening, adding a charitable component to the cultural event.

The full moon illuminated the venue during the central hours of the night, contributing to an atmosphere that, according to attendees, invited them to stay. The Cultural Summer continues in the coming weeks with new offerings for all audiences.
