The Local Police of Palomares del Río has added eight more cameras to the municipal system, which now has 48 devices to enhance security and traffic control.
The municipality of Palomares del Río has taken a new step in modernising its security with the addition of eight additional cameras to the video surveillance system, which are now operational at various points in the locality.
The expansion, carried out by the Local Police, includes seven environmental cameras and one for reading and recognising license plates, bringing the municipality to a total of 48 strategically distributed devices.
Of the total, 39 are environmental cameras and the remaining nine are dedicated to license plate reading, a key tool for access control and support for prevention and road safety efforts.
With this update, the Palomares del Río Town Hall aims to expand surveillance coverage and provide a more agile response to any incidents, as reported by the council itself.
This action is part of a plan to improve the material and technological resources of the local security force, which has been renewing its equipment in recent months to adapt to the municipality's needs.
The residents of Palomares del Río will see enhanced control at access points and in areas of higher traffic, with the aim of deterring violations and improving coexistence in public spaces.
