The Olivares Town Hall has initiated the procedure to award the vacant stalls at the Municipal Market of Abastos under concession, grouped into six lots. The document is in public information for 20 working days.
The Olivares Town Hall has launched the file to grant the currently vacant stalls in the Municipal Market of Abastos, a facility intended for the retail sale of food products in a free competition regime.
The available spaces have been grouped into six lots, according to the distribution outlined in the regulatory document: lot 1 includes stalls 4, 5, and 6; lot 2 includes stall 7; lot 3 includes stalls 8 and 9; lot 4 includes stalls 10, 11, and 12; lot 5 includes stalls 13 and 14; and lot 6 includes stalls 24 and 25.
The successful bidder will be required to assume, in addition to the economic exploitation of the space, the tasks of conservation, maintenance, and cleaning of both the facilities and their immediate surroundings, under the terms set out in the final document.
The document regulating the procedure has been published in the Municipal Electronic Board and in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Seville (BOP) number 144, dated July 28, 2026. From that publication, a public information period of 20 working days opens for interested parties to submit objections to the content of the document.
The Olivares Town Hall warns that this procedure does not yet imply the opening of the application submission period. Once the objection period has concluded, the Town Council will approve the final document, and it will be then that the application period for the stalls will be officially announced.
Interested traders and entrepreneurs should keep an eye on the official channels of the Town Hall, where information will be provided about the opening of the application period and the final conditions for participation. With this measure, the municipality aims to fill the vacant spaces in the market and strengthen the commercial and supply offer for residents.
