La Rinconada is launching a new edition of the Photography Competition 'Strolling Through Your Town', which this year celebrates its XIX edition. The contest invites residents to explore the municipality with a different perspective and capture those corners, details, and everyday moments that often go unnoticed.
The call will distribute a total of €400 in prizes. The first award is worth €300, while the second will receive €100. Interested parties have until October 13 to submit their works, whether with a camera or a mobile phone.
The competition is part of the RedCreajoven 2026 Festival, an event dedicated to creativity and youth participation that will celebrate its XIX edition on October 24 and 25 at the Recinto El Abrazo. The photographic proposal is one of the activities included in its programme.
The organisation has established two ways to submit works: through the electronic headquarters or via municipal in-person registration. In both cases, participants must comply with the conditions outlined in the competition's legal bases, which can be consulted before submitting photographs.
The aim of the competition is for residents to become observers of their own environment and showcase La Rinconada from their personal perspective, reflecting its streets, spaces, urban and rural landscapes, or those moments that are part of daily life in the municipality.
"The initiative is once again integrated into the RedCreajoven Festival, an event linked to creativity, participation, and the concerns of youth," according to the organisation.
Interested parties still have time to prepare their proposals and explore La Rinconada in search of that image that stands out among all participants. The deadline ends on October 13 and the complete rules are available for consultation before submission.
