The 1st Mexican Rodeo Competition takes place on the night of Saturday, October 3rd at the main arena of Una Pará in Gines 2026, following the 2nd Alpaca Block Throwing Competition. The top three contestants will receive prizes including a getaway to the Costa del Sol.
Una Pará in Gines 2026 adds an unprecedented event to its programme of activities. The 1st Mexican Rodeo Competition will be held on the night of Saturday, October 3rd at the main arena of the venue, right after the 2nd Alpaca Block Throwing Competition concludes.
The organisers have explained that the event will reward the skill and ability of participants on a mechanical bull. Anyone over 18 years old can take part, with no prior experience required.
The format is a single phase. Each contestant will try to stay on the bull for as long as possible, starting at a basic speed that will progressively increase every 15 seconds.
Registrations will be formalised on the same day of the event at the venue, starting from 01:30 hours. The number of participants is limited to 20, so interested individuals should arrive early to avoid missing out.
There will be prizes for the top three contestants. The winner will receive a weekend for two in the Costa del Sol; the second place will get a dinner for four; and the third will receive 100 euros.
"It will be one of the great novelties of Una Pará in Gines 2026," according to the event organisers.
