The Morón de la Frontera Town Hall requests €1,821,585.92 for five projects that will provide training and work for 75 unemployed individuals over 12 months.
The Morón de la Frontera Town Hall has submitted a request to the Junta de Andalucía for €1,821,585.92 to launch five employment and training projects that will benefit 75 unemployed individuals from the municipality. Each of the programmes will last for 12 months and will combine training with professional practice in various public spaces in the locality.
The activities would take place in Parque Canillas, Laderas del Castillo, Pasarela Norte del Castillo, the gardens of Los Palomitos (in a second phase of the project that is already underway) and Plaza del Auditorio. The initiative is part of the employment and training programme of the Junta, aimed at improving the labour integration of participants through qualification in conjunction with real work.
The projects are aimed at groups with greater difficulties in accessing employment: young people under 30, people over 45, long-term unemployed, and women victims of gender violence. Specifically, at least 30 places are for young people, 15 for individuals aged 30 to 44 who are long-term unemployed, 15 for those over 45 in the same situation, and a complete project is reserved for women victims of gender violence.
The distribution of places and budgets is as follows: the Parque Canillas project will have 15 places for individuals aged 30 to 44 who are long-term unemployed, with a budget of €363,517.20, focused on environmental improvement and training in nurseries, gardens, and maintenance of green areas. The Laderas del Castillo project, also with 15 places for those under 30 and the same budget, will be dedicated to environmental actions and training in gardening.
The Pasarela Norte del Castillo will have €362,185.52 for 15 places aimed at women victims of gender violence, with a carpentry itinerary to manufacture and install a wooden walkway at the pedestrian access of the northern slope. Meanwhile, Los Palomitos II and Plaza del Auditorio each have €366,183 and 15 places: the former for those under 30 who are long-term unemployed, with training in masonry to finish the gardens; the latter for those over 45 in prolonged unemployment, with the same training itinerary to condition the square and its surroundings.
With this proposal, the Town Hall seeks a dual impact: for participants to acquire qualifications with professional opportunities and for the works to improve the public spaces of the municipality. The applications have been submitted within the regional call, which will remain open for project submissions until September 11, 2026.
