The Seville City Council presents the poster for the Great Anglo-Arab Week, which will take place from October 1 to 4 in the Parque del Alamillo with over 200 horses and riders, including three Olympians.
The City Hall of Seville has been the venue for the presentation of the poster for the Great Anglo-Arab Week, an event organized by the Spanish Association of Anglo-Arab Horse Breeders in collaboration with the Seville City Council. The event will take place from October 1 to 4 in the Parque del Alamillo and will gather more than 200 horses and riders, according to the organizers.
Among the participants are the Olympic riders Carlos Díaz (Paris 2024), Francisco Gaviño (Tokyo 2020), and Albert Hermoso (Rio de Janeiro 2016), which raises the competitive level of this edition. The presentation of the poster serves as the starting signal for a programme that includes three international competitions, the National Final of the Young Horses Cycle for Eventing in all breeds raised in Spain, a livestock competition for the Anglo-Arab breed, and technical workshops.
The Sports Delegate of the Seville City Council, María Tena, has emphasised the open nature of the event. In her words, the event has an accessible approach because free access allows “entire families and the little ones to enjoy this sport live and participate in activities designed for everyone.”

Tena also wanted to acknowledge the organisation's work to involve the city and expressed her confidence that the Anglo-Arab Magical Night, which is being introduced this year on Saturday, October 3, “is going to be a success.”
The event is shaping up to be one of the most significant equestrian events on the Seville calendar and reinforces the use of the Parque del Alamillo as a space for sports and family activities. Free entry will facilitate access for residents of Seville and its province during the four days of competition.
