The mayor, Juanma López, led the event accompanied by members of the municipal corporation, project technicians and architects, as well as representatives from the El Prior neighbourhood association and the Rocío brotherhood.
The construction responds to a historical demand from the neighbourhood residents, who will have a modern and accessible space for cultural, educational, and social activities. The project has a total investment of €2,100,000 and an execution period of 12 months, so the facilities are expected to open next year.
This initiative is part of the Integrated Action Plan (PAI) and is co-financed by the European Union through ERDF funds, highlighting the commitment to urban regeneration and social development in the municipality.
With this milestone, the residents of El Prior see how a long-awaited infrastructure is coming closer, which will improve their quality of life and offer new opportunities for participation and gathering in the neighbourhood.
