The Environment delegation of the Town Hall of Lebrija has announced special hours for the Recycling Points of Huerta Macenas and San Benito due to the 2026 Fair and Patron Saint Festivities.

The Environment delegation of the Town Hall of Lebrija has informed about the temporary modification of the hours of the Recycling Points in the locality due to the celebration of the Lebrija Fair and Patron Saint Festivities 2026. The change will affect the facilities of Huerta Macenas and San Benito during the central days of the festivities.

The Recycling Point of Huerta Macenas will open with reduced hours on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September, from 9:00 to 14:00 hours, while it will remain closed on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September due to the local holiday.

Meanwhile, the Recycling Point of San Benito will also reduce its activity, opening only from 12:00 to 14:00 hours on Wednesday and Thursday. Like Huerta Macenas, it will close on Friday and Saturday due to the celebrations.

The Environment delegation reminds citizens of the importance of responsibly using the Recycling Points and respecting the established hours, thus contributing to maintaining a cleaner and more sustainable Lebrija.

According to the council, this measure aims to facilitate planning visits and ensure the proper functioning of these services during the festive days. Residents who need to dispose of waste on those days should consider the restrictions to avoid unnecessary trips.

Both facilities will return to their normal operating regime starting Tuesday 15 September 2026. The Town Hall thanks citizens in advance for their cooperation and understanding regarding these temporary changes due to the local festivities.
