The three municipalities of Bajo Guadalquivir join forces once again for the Comarcal Marcha Rosa, which will take place on October 24 in Lebrija under the slogan "On the Move against Cancer". The Cabeceña Association against Cancer will start selling T-shirts in the coming days.
The eleventh edition of the Comarcal Marcha Rosa now has a date. The municipalities of Las Cabezas de San Juan, Lebrija and El Cuervo presented this solidarity event on September 22, which will be held on October 24 in Lebrija with the slogan "On the Move against Cancer".
The presentation event took place at 19:30 hours in the square next to the headquarters of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Lebrija. The mayors of the three municipalities attended: Pepe Solano (Las Cabezas de San Juan), Pepe Barroso (Lebrija) and José Manuel Oliva (El Cuervo). The health delegates from the three towns, the presidents of the cancer associations from each municipality, and members of the Spanish Association Against Cancer were also present.
During the meeting, details of this new edition were shared, which maintains its advocacy and solidarity character and aims to surpass the participation and fundraising figures of previous years.
The organization also announced the programming of the so-called Pink Month, with awareness, prevention, and solidarity activities spread across the three municipalities over the coming weeks. The three towns are once again joining efforts around an initiative that seeks to highlight the fight against cancer, support research, and send a joint message of awareness throughout the region.
The Cabeceña Association against Cancer will begin selling the T-shirts for this edition in the coming days. The next edition of the Marcha Rosa will be held in Las Cabezas de San Juan, as announced during the presentation.
