El Rinconada, which debuts in Division of Honour, has already won its first friendly (2-3 against Betis DH), while San José will start its schedule on August 14.
Football in La Rinconada is already underway. Both El Rinconada and San José have begun their respective pre-seasons, with simple events that included a talk from the board and coaching staff before stepping onto the pitch to prepare for a campaign that looks promising for various reasons.
The team coached by Raúl Carmona, which will compete in the Division of Honour this season, has already played its first friendly, winning against Betis DH 2-3. In that first match, fans could see new faces such as Ismael, who played in midfield alongside Manu Gallardo, as well as Bruno Silva, Francis López, Diego García, and former cañamero Paquito Morales, all of whom were starters.
El Rinconada has a busy summer schedule ahead. Among their planned opponents are Mairena, Camas, Peña Rociera, and Bollullos. Additionally, the club will need to keep an eye on the Division of Honour schedule, where Sevilla C will not be present, having been promoted to Tercera RFEF, while Almodóvar del Río will take their place following a series of promotions triggered by the expulsion of Unión Malacitano.
On the other hand, San José, with Nando newly appointed to the bench, prefers to work before making their debut. The cañameros will not play their first friendly until Friday, August 14, against an opponent yet to be defined, which could be Demo or Algabeño. They will then face teams like Coria, Dos Hermanas, or Aroche. The cañamero team will not see their group altered after the registration of Inter de Sevilla, which prevents Ventippo from taking their place.
Regarding the squads, El Rinconada's is practically finalised, although four young players were trained on trial during the debut. San José, which also has trial players, is still looking to fill the vacancies for a central defender and a forward. Both teams continue to work while awaiting the official competition schedule.
