The Alcalá del Río City Council opens the pre-registration period for the Municipal Sports Schools 2026/2027 from September 4. Applications will be made online and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Sports Delegation of Alcalá del Río has presented a new edition of the Municipal Sports Schools 2026/2027, aimed at children and young people in the municipality. The programme seeks to promote sports practice and convey values such as teamwork, respect, effort, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Pre-registration can be formalised from September 4 at 12:00 until October 15. The process will be carried out exclusively online, through the form available on the municipal website.
Places will be allocated in strict order of registration, and each sports modality will have a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 20. If the places are filled, a waiting list will be created to cover possible vacancies.
Each student may sign up for a maximum of two sports modalities, and federated athletes will not be able to participate in these schools. Those who secure a place will receive an email with the documentation, start dates, and schedules; the signed authorization must be handed to the coach on the first training day.
Training sessions will be held behind closed doors for safety reasons, and it will be mandatory to attend in appropriate clothing and footwear. Repeated absences may result in removal from the activity, to facilitate access for those on the waiting list.
The Sports Delegation warns that the initial programming and schedules may be modified to adapt to organisational needs, and any changes will be communicated to families in advance.
