The operation, awarded to a specialized external company following a bidding process, aims to maintain the health of the palm trees, ensure their safety, and preserve their aesthetics. To achieve this, dead or damaged leaves will be removed, growth will be controlled, and the risk of falling leaves or fruits will be reduced.
The work is financed with the Town Hall's own funds, which has apologised in advance for any inconvenience that may arise. The Council requests that residents exercise caution in vehicular traffic, pay attention to signage and temporary road closures, and avoid parking in the work areas while the operation is ongoing.
This intervention is part of the regular maintenance of urban trees, a task that is carried out periodically to prevent accidents and maintain the good condition of the municipality's green heritage.
The work will take place in various streets and public spaces in Lebrija over the coming weeks, so drivers and pedestrians are advised to pay attention to the instructions from the workers and the signage installed at each work site.
