American singer Tia Carroll headlines the Tomares International Blues Festival, which will take place on September 19 at the Jardines del Conde de la Hacienda Santa Ana. Tickets are already on sale from 15 euros for residents.

Blues is returning to Tomares. The Aljarafe municipality has announced the second edition of its International Blues Festival, which will be held on September 19 at the Jardines del Conde de la Hacienda Santa Ana. Following the success of the first edition, the event returns with a lineup that mixes national and international talent, featuring Californian singer Tia Carroll as the main act.

The organisers have confirmed that the doors will open at 12:30 PM, with a programme that will run throughout the day. The festival aims to offer blues in all its forms, from the most classic to the most contemporary, with artists who have shared the stage with legends of the genre.

Tia Carroll, the Festival's Star

Tia Carroll, one of the most recognised voices in blues, soul, and gospel, arrives in Tomares with a career that includes collaborations with Ray Charles, B.B. King, and Patti LaBelle. The Californian artist will perform for the first time in the province of Seville, making the festival a must-attend event for genre lovers.

Alongside her, the lineup includes Lluís Coloma Trío with Kid Carlos, a fusion of the Barcelona pianist with one of the most prominent blues guitarists in the national scene. Other acts will include Quique Gómez & His Vipers, Quique Bonal & Kid Carlos, Q & The Moonstones, Lightning Band, La Manso & Blues Sapiens, and Slowhand.

Prices and Discounts for Residents

Tickets are already on sale. Residents of Tomares and members of the Casa del Blues can purchase them for 15 euros, while the general public price will be 20 euros. The organisers recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as capacity is limited and last year's edition sold out.

The festival thus establishes itself as one of the cultural highlights of the summer in Aljarafe, attracting fans from across the province. The Jardines del Conde, a charming outdoor space, will be the perfect setting to enjoy a day of great music.

A Cultural Boost for Tomares

The Tomares City Council has invested in this festival as part of its stable cultural offering, aiming to attract visitors and boost the local economy. The first edition, held in 2025, exceeded attendance expectations and received very positive feedback from both the audience and the artists.

For the residents of Tomares, the festival represents an opportunity to enjoy top-level music without leaving the municipality, and at a reduced price if they are registered. Additionally, the event helps position Tomares as a cultural reference in the region.

On September 19, Tomares will be dressed in blues. Those who wish to immerse themselves in this musical genre have an unmissable appointment at the Jardines del Conde. Tickets can be purchased on the municipal website and at usual sales points. It is recommended to arrive early to enjoy the full day.
